Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación pretende proponer la mejorar el Humedal del Centro de Producción Agropecuaria de Yauris- Piopata con plantas emergentes, caracterizando en primer lugar los parámetros físicos, químicos y biológicos del humedal, a nivel de laboratorio. En la caracterización del efluente del humedal existente dio como resultado: 198,14μS/cm de C.E, 21,50NTU de turbidez, 3,2mg/L de OD, 96,20mg/L de Cl- , 180,90mg/L de HCO3 - , 118,88mg/L de S.D.T., 85,80mg/L de DBO5 y 9785 NMP/100mL de coliformes totales, se comparó con las normas de DIGESA y OMS-FAO. Los humedales acondicionados con las plantas emergentes HA1 (totoral) y HA2 (carrizo), cuyas dimensiones son: área 1,92m2 , longitud 2,4m, ancho 0,8m, profundidad 0,5m, caudal 0,18m3 /día y tiempo de retención 4 días. Los resultados obtenidos en el efluente del HA1 son: C.E 167,30μS/cm, turbidez 12,07NTU, OD 4,80mg/L, Cl 38,23mg/L, HCO3 - 213,97mg/L, S.D.T. 107,13mg/L, DBO5 49,73mg/L y coliformes totales 1838,67 NMP/100mL. Efluente del HA2 son: C.E 196,90μS/cm, turbidez 14,70 NTU, OD 4,07mg/L, Cl- 37,18mg/L, HCO3 - 197,93mg/L, S.D.T. 115,50mg/L, DBO5 54,43mg/L y coliformes totales 2253,33 NMP/100mL. Teniendo un porcentaje de remoción de 76,26 % de la DBO5 en el HA1 (Totora) y 73,95 % de la DBO5 en el HA2 (Carrizo).
