Abstract

El estudio muestra el resultado de la prospección de emisiones vehiculares en Chiclayo, en un período de 25 años (2018 – 2042), la población en el área supera los 517 906 habitantes, pero el rápido crecimiento urbanístico de la ciudad y del parque automotor ha originado niveles de polución no observado en otras ciudades. Para determinar factores de emisión por categoría y tecnología vehicular se usó la metodología del modelo “Emisiones vehiculares Internacionales” (IVE); a partir del cálculo de los factores de emisión, se llevó a cabo el inventario de contaminantes emitidos por fuentes móviles: criterio, tóxicos y gases de efecto invernadero (GEI) utilizando el software “Sistema de Planificación de Alternativas Energéticas de Largo Plazo” (LEAP). Los resultados muestran que los mayores emisores de CO y COV son taxis - colectivos (41,9% y 29,1%) y mototaxis (17,7% y 33%), mientras que las mayores emisiones de NOX y PM son originadas por camiones (46% y 88,3%). Se estima que anualmente se emite a la atmósfera 20 188 TM de monóxido de carbono; Metano, Aldehídos y formaldehidos, son emitidos en mayor porcentaje por mototaxis (39,8%, 65,2% y 72,1%), mientras que el amoniaco y benceno son originados por Taxi - colectivo (30,8% y 41%); los camiones son los mayores contaminantes de dióxido de carbono y óxido nitroso (34,9% y 38,8%). En el año base (2017) se emite a la atmósfera 623 780 TM de dióxido de carbono. El resultado de la proyección muestra que en 25 años pasaremos de 20 188 TM de monóxido de carbono a 50 727 TM anuales (151%), material particulado (PM) pasará de 590 TM anuales a 876 TM y el dióxido de carbono de 648 mil TM a 993 mil TM (incremento de 53%). La propuesta de gestión resalta que: Los mototaxis son responsables de las mayores emisiones de contaminantes tóxicos, el desorden vehicular y la baja velocidad de circulación generan mayores emisiones y que el número de taxis es mayor a 30 por cada 1000 habitantes.
