Abstract

Bu çalışma Alman arşiv belgelerini kullanarak Almanya'nın Ermeni meselesine bakışındaki değişimi kronolojik olarak incelemekte, zaman içerisinde Hıristiyan din kardeşliğinin öne çıkarak Almanya'nın görüşüne hakim olduğunu tespit etmektedir. Ermeni Meselesinin uluslararası boyut aldığı Berlin Kongresi'nden (1878) günümüze kadar Türkiye ile Almanya, farklı boyutlarda da olsa, hep dostane ilişkilerini sürdürmüşlerdir. Sevk ve İskân Kararı'nın kanunlaşıp uygulandığı, Birinci Dünya Savaşı sürecinde Osmanlı Devleti ile Almanya aynı ittifak içerisinde yer alan "silah kardeşleri" idiler. Dolayısıyla Ermeni Meselesi söz konusu olduğunda, Almanya ile diğer Batılı devletlerin politikaları arasında farklılıklar olduğu görülmektedir
