Abstract

El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar en vacas lecheras Holstein los valores sanguíneos de Calcio, Urea, Albumina, Aspartato Aminotransferasa (AST), Fosfatasa Alcalina (ALP), Globulinas y Proteínas Totales a fin de realizar estadística descriptiva y comparar los valores con respecto a al a bibliografía. Se procedió a realizar la recolección y procesamiento de muestras en cinco establos lecheros de la cuenca de Lima, de los cuales se seleccionaron 10 vacas lecheras en cada uno de estos, con 50 a 60 días post parto y en un rango de 2 a 4 años de edad, en agosto del 2015. Los animales definidos como aparentemente saludables, se establecieron mediante un hemograma y un examen físico. Se determinó que existe diferencia estadística significativa en: calcio sérico (n=50) 9.96±0.66 U/L, de los cuales el 28 % (n=14) estuvieron por debajo de los niveles mínimos y presentaron una media de 9.14±0.45 U/L. Proteínas Totales 7.36± 0.46 g/dL, de los cuales el 48% (n=24) de los animales muestreados presentaron 7.59±3.81 g/dL, los cuales se encontraban superior a los valores referenciales. La Albumina fue de 3.68±0.46 g/dL, de los cuales el 54% (n=27) de los animales muestreados 3.95±0.87 g/dL se encontraban fuera de los rangos referenciales. Las globulinas tuvieron una media total de 3.67±0.77 g/dL, de los cuales el 86% (n=43) presentaron una media de 3.66±1.06 g/dL. Los niveles de urea sérica fue de 28.14 ± 9.28 mg/dL, los cuales el 94% (n=47) presentaron 27.06± 8.46 mg/dL. Se concluye que la variación por encima o por debajo de los intervalos diferenciales es significativo y debe de consideras enfermedades metabólicas subclínicas en vacas en etapa de producción.
