Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar la resistencia de unión al microcizallamiento evaluando diferentes ácidos fosfóricos con el uso de un sistema adhesivo universal. Se utilizaron 84 muestras de esmalte, las cuales fueron divididas según el acondicionamiento ácido: G1: ScotchbondTM etchant (3 M ESPE), G2: Ultra-Etch (Ultradent), G3: Eco-Etch (IvoclarVivadent), G4: ETCH-37 with BAC (Bisco), G5: Etching gel (Densell), G6: Condac 37 (FGM) y G7 ScotchbondTM Universal Adhesive (3 M ESPE) en modo autograbado. Para el procedimiento adhesivo se utilizó el adhesivo ScotchbondTM Universal Adhesive de acuerdo a las instrucciones del fabricante y se colocaron cilindros de resina de 0.9 mm de diámetro. Se realizó la prueba de resistencia de unión al microcizallamiento utilizando la máquina de ensayo semiuniversal OM100 (Odeme, San Carlos, SP, Brasil). Para el análisis estadístico se utilizó el programa SPSS 20.0. Para analizar las diferencias entre los grupos se utilizó el análisis de ANOVA y post test de Tukey con un nivel de significancia de 0.5%. Los resultados muestran los mayores valores de resistencia adhesiva para los grupos 1,4,5 siendo significativamente mayores que los grupos 2,3,6 y 7. Se concluye que el grabado ácido con ETCH-37 with BAC, Etching gel y ScotchbondTM etchant mejora la resistencia adhesiva en el esmalte al utilizar el adhesivo ScotchbondTM Universal Adhesive y que el grabado ácido con Condac 37, Ultra-etch, Eco-etch proporciona valores de resistencia adhesiva semejantes al modo autograbado del adhesivo ScotchbondTM Universal Adhesive.
