Abstract

En esta investigación se enfatiza la importancia de la participación interdisciplinaria directa y activa de los trabajadores, junto al equipo técnico a cargo del Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el trabajo de una organización, lo cual contribuye a una toma de decisiones más integradas y eficaces en la aplicación de las medidas de control frente a la exposición ocupacional a factores de riesgo mecánico y eléctrico, además de mejorar los niveles de la cultura de prevención de incidentes y accidentes ocupacionales. Se utilizó una metodología centrada en la revisión narrativa de la literatura. La participación transdisciplinaria se refiere a la implicación activa de los trabajadores desde un enfoque colaborativo en la gestión de la SST, para la búsqueda de soluciones transdisciplinarias que nos permitan consensuar diferentes áreas del conocimiento disciplinario. El objetivo fundamental es que los trabajadores tengan un conocimiento real y detallado de los procesos y procedimientos en los que participan, de tal manera puedan contribuir significativamente en la identificación de problemas; así como en la generación de soluciones innovadoras. Los factores de riesgo mecánico en el ambiente laboral son aquellos que pueden provocar una variedad de lesiones musculoesqueléticas debido a la exposición a fuerzas mecánicas producidas por máquinas, equipos y herramientas en el ambiente laboral. Mientras que los factores de riesgo eléctrico en el lugar de trabajo, son aquellos que pueden ocasionar también daños físicos o lesiones a los órganos, debido a la exposición a corrientes eléctricas presentes al entrar en contacto con las máquinas y equipos del ámbito laboral. Es esencial la participación de los trabajadores para la elaboración de planes de prevención, ya que sus contribuciones, recomendaciones y sugerencias proporcionan información valiosa a la empresa sobre las condiciones de trabajo durante las jornadas laborales. Al tener esta oportunidad, los trabajadores pueden presentar reclamaciones y sugerir mejoras a la gestión de la seguridad y la salud en el trabajo.

In this research, the importance of direct and active interdisciplinary participation of workers, alongside the technical team in charge of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System in an organization, is emphasized. This approach contributes to more integrated and effective decision-making in the implementation of control measures against occupational exposure to mechanical and electrical risk factors. It also helps to improve levels of incident and occupational accident prevention culture. A methodology focused on narrative literature review was used. Transdisciplinary participation refers to the active involvement of workers from a collaborative approach in OHS management, seeking transdisciplinary solutions to agree on different areas of disciplinary knowledge. The primary goal is for workers to have a real and detailed understanding of the processes and procedures they are involved in, so they can significantly contribute to problem identification and the generation of innovative solutions. Mechanical risk factors in the workplace are those that can cause a variety of musculoskeletal injuries due to exposure to mechanical forces produced by machines, equipment, and tools in the work environment. Meanwhile, electrical risk factors at work are those that can also cause physical damage or injuries to organs, due to exposure to electrical currents present when coming into contact with machines and equipment in the workplace. The participation of workers in developing prevention plans is essential, as their contributions, recommendations, and suggestions provide valuable information to the company about working conditions during work hours. By having this opportunity, workers can make claims and suggest improvements to the management of occupational health and safety.
