Descripción de las métricas del control glucémico evaluadas por monitoreo continuo de glucosa tipo flash (FreeStyle Libre), en pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo 2, en un centro de diabetes en Lima-Perú

Abstract

El control glucémico es fundamental para el manejo seguro y eficaz de la diabetes mellitus, especialmente en población con insulinoterapia. El uso del monitoreo continuo de glucosa (MCG) ha incrementado en los últimos años, debido al acceso a este tipo de tecnología y los resultados favorables que se han visto en los estudios clínicos a nivel mundial, respaldando su uso. Se llevará a cabo un estudio descriptivo, retrospectivo y transversal; en pacientes ambulatorios con diabetes mellitus tipo 2, con cualquier esquema de terapia, entre el período del 1 de Junio del 2022 al 30 de Junio de 2023 en el Centro de diabetes CIDON - Lima. Los datos serán recolectados en una ficha (ANEXO 1) y luego transcritos a una base de datos en Excel; la cual se importará al software estadístico STATA. La información se presentará como media ± desviación estándar, para variables continuas y en porcentajes para las categóricas.
