Abstract

Los postes de fibra de vidrio reforzados con resina en unión con las estructuras dentarias y cemento de resina se comportan como un monobloque. Una unión inadecuada en las interfaces produce descementación y falilas en la adhesíón del poste frente a fuerzas oclusales o de cizallamiento. Algunos autores sugieren estrategias como el tratar la superficie del poste argumentando que generan retención mecánica y química entre el poste y conducto radicular.
