The following eight species are recorded for first time from Turkey: Argyra diaphana (FABRICIUS, 1775), Chrysotus pulchellus KOWARZ, 1874, Diaphorus graecus PARENT, 1932, Diaphorus winthemi MEIGEN, 1824, Gymnopternus celer (MEIGEN, 1824), Hercostomus nigrilamellatus (MACQUART, 1827), Tachytrechus petraeus LOEW, 1871 and Neurigona nubifera (LOEW,, 1869). As a result, the dolichopodid list of Turkey has increased to 112 species.
