Objective: To demonstrate if there is an association between night shift s and coronary risk in workers of station 7 of the Norperuano Pipeline. Material and methods: Study was carried out in which 198 files of workers of a company were included, according to select ion criteria which were divided into 2 groups: workers exposed to night shifts and not exposed to night shifts; applying the odds ratio, and the chi square statistical test. Results: The frequency of obesit y was significant ly higher in the group of worker s exposed to night shifts than in workers not exposed to night shifts. The frequency of high coronary risk in workers with night shift s was 33%. The frequency o f high coronary risk in workers without night shift s was 15%. The practice of night shift s is a factor associated with high coronary risk wit h an odds ratio of 4.1, which was significant (p <0.05). Conclusion: There is an associat ion between night shifts and coronary risk in workers of station 7 of the Norperuano Pipeline
