Abstract

En desarrollo del proyecto de investigación “Identidades étnicas y de género en contextos de pobreza y violencia: mujeres negras en la costa Caribe colombiana”, se presenta el siguiente artículo centrado en cuestiones puntuales del trabajo de las organizaciones de mujeres en San Basilio de Palenque, el cual ha contribuido en el fortalecimiento de la lengua y la cultura mediante la implementación de un currículo etnoeducativo a lo largo de 17 años en el Instituto Técnico Agropecuario “Benkos Biohó”. También se hace referencia a una tradición de las mujeres de Palenque en materia culinaria, la producción y venta de dulces que ha llevado a estas mujeres más allá de las fronteras.

In development of the project of investigation " ethnic Identities and of kind in contexts of poverty and violence: black women on the Caribbean Colombian coast ", one presents the following article centred on punctual questions of the work of the women's organizations on San Basilio of Fence, which has contributed in the strengthening of the language and the culture by means of the implementation of a curriculum etnoeducativo throughout 17 years in the Technical Agricultural Institute "Benkos Biohó". Also one refers to a tradition of the women of fence in culinary matter, the production and sale of sweets that has taken these women beyond the borders.
