Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo general demostrar que un programa de lecturas recreativas desarrolla la comprensión lectora en los niños y niñas de cinco años de edad del PRONOEI Los Tulipanes del distrito de José Leonardo Ortiz, la investigación es con diseño pre experimental y se ha desarrollado con un grupo de estudio conformado por 20 niños, al inicio de la investigación se aplicó un pre test a fin de conocer el nivel de desarrollo de la comprensión lectora que tienen los niños, de los resultados obtenidos, que en su mayoría salieron bajos, se vio la necesidad de aplicar el Programa, que consta de 10 sesiones teniendo en cuenta diversos tipos de textos, utilizando lecturas recreativas. Posteriormente se procedió a aplicar un pos test donde se evidenció el desarrollo de la comprensión lectora gracias a la aplicación de la prueba de hipótesis estadística t de Student, concluyendo que aplicando un programa de lecturas recreativas se mejora el nivel de la comprensión lectora en los niños y niñas de cinco años de edad del PRONOEI Los Tulipanes del distrito de José Leonardo Ortiz.
