Abstract

La investigación es de tipo aplicada con diseño pre experimental; la muestra estuvo conformada por 10 estudiantes entre los 4 y 10 años de edad; mediante la técnica psicométrica se aplicó de un pre test, fue factible identificar habilidades sociales contrastando su desarrollo con un post test; el análisis de datos se realizó utilizando la estadística descriptiva, misma que permitió medir las variables a través de cuadros comparativos. Los resultados obtenidos mediante el pre test permitió identificar características e indicadores referentes a las habilidades sociales. Los mismos fueron contrastados luego de la aplicación del programa basado en arte terapia, a través del post test en el cuál se reflejó un incremento significativo en el mejoramiento de las habilidades sociales; con un 73% en habilidades para iniciaciones sociales, 62% en habilidades conversacionales y 54% en habilidades para afrontar problemas interpersonales. Posteriormente a la aplicación del programa las habilidades potenciadas fueron habilidades para iniciacion social y habilidades para entablar conversaciones
