Abstract

Esta investigación plantea como objetivo general diseñar un programa educativo para mejorar las habilidades sociales no verbales en estudiantes del cuarto grado de la Institución Educativa Especial “Niño Jesús de Praga”-Pimentel. El tipo de investigación fue básica porque se empleó a través de una encuesta y hechos observables en relación a las habilidades sociales no verbales. El diseño de investigación, es de carácter no experimental, la muestra está constituida por 24 estudiantes con necesidades educativas especiales asociadas a discapacidad. Después del análisis de resultados, se ha podido identificar que las habilidades sociales no verbales, requieren de atención inmediata en: la dimensión de expresión facial, el 29,17% (7 estudiantes); en la mirada un 37,50% (9 estudiantes); en la sonrisa un 45,83% (11 estudiantes); la postura un 33,33% (8 estudiantes) y finalmente en los gestos un 37,50% (9 estudiantes). Se diseñó programa educativo, materializándose en la planificación y elaboración de una propuesta, para evaluar la viabilidad del programa educativo a través del juicio de expertos, para mejorar las habilidades sociales no verbales como una herramienta necesaria para tomar una decisión estratégica.
