Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como finalidad aplicar un programa basado en lecturas recreativas con el fin de mejorar los niveles de comprensión lectora de los estudiantes de sexto grado de primaria de la I.E. N° 10222 – Elvira García y García - San José, Lambayeque, trabajo iniciado mediante la constatación del problema en las aulas como: escasa práctica de lectura, poco dominio en comprensión literal, inferencial y crítico. El tipo de investigación es explicativa con un diseño pre experimental. Para ello se utilizó un Pre y Post Test para medir la comprensión lectora a treinta estudiantes del sexto grado E, antes y después de la aplicación del programa, según la tabla 5 en el Pre test los resultados salieron bajos en la comprensión lectora, luego se aplicaron las lecturas recreativas, cuyo resultado fue optimo ya que los estudiantes y según la tabla 7 en el pos test demostraron su mejoría tanto en la comprensión literal, inferencial y crítica, probándose de esta manera la hipótesis de estudio de la presente investigación.
