Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between nepotism and human resources. In other words, the effect of the employee's perception of manager and nepotism on organizational justice will be determined. In addition, according to demographic variables such as gender, age, educational status and experience, it will be determined whether nepotism, organizational justice and the manager's perception of employee differ. In study, a survey was conducted on 213 people working in Istanbul. The scale of organizational justice developed by Colquitt (2007) and the Nepotism scale developed by Abdalla, Maghrabi and Raggad, (1998) were used in the study. Anova, t-test, regression and correlation analyzes were used for empirical analysis. As a result of the analyzes, a negative and statistically significant relationship was found between nepotism and organizational justice. Moreover, nepotism, organizational justice and manager perception do not differ according to age, experience, education, working year and working time.
