Kompozit malzemelerin kaplanabilirliğinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Composite materials have extensively been used in various fields such as aerospaceindustries, automobiles, marine, and defense industries because of their highstrength/density ratios and high young modulus/density ratios. But their using area isrestricted because of their surface feature like low wear resistance, tribology behaviors.Coating is the most preferred method to increase wear resistance of machine parts. Inthis study, hard ceramic powders Al2O3+TiO2 and CrO3 are coated on glass fiber andcarbon fiber reinforced epoxy composite materials with plasma spray coating method. Then, an experimental study has been carried out to investigate the physical, mechanical and metallographic properties of coated materials.
