Vibrazioni Ottupolari lungo la catena isotopica dello Zirconio

Abstract

Nei nuclei a guscio chiuso, sia per configurazioni neutroniche sia protoniche, sono comunemente osservate eccitazioni a bassa energia caratterizzate da momento angolare e parità J=3- con un tasso di transizione B(E3) verso lo stato fondamentale particolarmente pronunciato. Questi stati sono generalmente interpretabili come oscillazioni collettive ottupolari asimmetriche attorno alla forma sferica di equilibrio. Investigare queste vibrazioni ottupolari lungo catene isotopiche può provvedere a dare informazioni e risposte riguardo la natura degli stati dei fononi. L'analisi verrà effettuata grazie allo spettrometro AGATA e all'analisi dello spettro gamma osservato lungo la catena isotopica dello Zirconio, in cui sono presenti gli isotopi 90Zr, 91Zr, 92Zr, 94Zr, 96Zr. Tramite l'osservazione e l'analisi dei picchi di transizione gamma nei precedenti isotopi si può passare all'analisi e alla stima dei Braching Ratio per le transizioni E3
