In this thesis we will explore the design of unmanned high altitude platform stations, from the definition of the project's requirements to its first dimensional and performance estimates. The thesis concludes with a comparison between different proposed configurations and a discussion regarding possible future developments.
In questa tesi andremo a discutere la progettazione preliminare di piattaforme d'alta quota, dalla definizione dei loro requisiti alle prime stime dimensionali e prestazionali. Conclude il lavoro un confronto fra varie configurazioni proposte e una discussione su possibili sviluppi futuri.
