Abstract

In questa relazione di tirocinio svolto presso DAVE Embedded Systems, si vuole tracciare lo stato di salute di una flotta di dispositivi IoT da remoto. Per l'invio di dati si sperimentano due approcci differenti: il primo si basa su una soluzione open source, che garantisce il completo controllo su ogni componente; la seconda utilizza un applicativo closed source, in cui si ha operabilità limitata. Si confrontano i due approcci, analizzando i vantaggi, gli svantaggi e i limiti di ciascuno e delineando le sfide specifiche che emergono in base alla scelta adottata. I dati raccolti vengono visualizzati utilizzando l'applicativo web Grafana, che, attraverso dashboard personalizzate, permette di offrire una fruizione chiara e immediata delle metriche di salute dei dispositivi. In conclusione, si presentano soluzioni per estendere le funzionalità sviluppate, suggerendo miglioramenti futuri e potenziali implementazioni aggiuntive che potrebbero ottimizzare ulteriormente il monitoraggio e la gestione della flotta di dispositivi IoT.
