La tesi si propone di sviscerare il concetto di armonia, attraverso le parole del trattato di un grande musicista come Arnold Schönberg. Dalle sue considerazioni di carattere musicale si possono ricavare diverse concezioni di tipo fenomenologico, che possono aiutare a comprendere la musica in toto in maniera diversa, rispetto a concezioni manieristiche che si sono avvicendate negli anni precedenti alla pubblicazione dell'opera di Schönberg.
The thesis proposes to look into the concept of harmony, by analyzing the words of the great musician Arnold Schönberg. Starting from the author's musical observations, it's possible to read into it many phenomenological thoughts. These help to understand the whole concept of music differently, in respect to the manneristic conceptions that were taught in musical academies in the years previous to the publication of Schönberg's work.
