Abstract

La gestión del liderazgo es de fundamental importancia para las organizaciones que desean ser competitivas, ya que se focalizan en el factor más valioso y el que produce los mayores y mejores resultados si esta bien orientado. Además el liderazgo potencia las dimensiones humanas en beneficio de la organización, donde la sugestión, la voluntad, la motivación y la sensibilización juegan un papel primordial; siendo menos importante el formalismo, ya que no se puede establecer que por el solo hecho de decretarlo se construya liderazgo. Los estilos de liderazgo asociados al ciclo vital de las organizaciones fundamentaron esta revisión bibliográfica; en la cual se encontró, que los estilos de liderazgo existentes varían de acuerdo al autor, y a la etapa de ciclo vital en la que se encuentre la organización. A continuación se presentara un breve recorrido por las teorías que fundamentan el liderazgo, así como también la relación de este con el ciclo vital de la organización.
