Analiza napredovanj učiteljev v nazive v Srednji šoli Jesenice

Abstract

Temelj vsake organizacije so ljudje in njihova sposobnost, ustvarjalnost, znanje in veščine, ki se kažejo v njihovih storitvah. Napredovanje je zelo pomemben dejavnik poklicnega in osebnostnega razvoja posameznika. Pravičen in dober sistem je zato še kako pomemben za učitelja, ki mora imeti dovolj možnosti, da lahko kot posameznik razvije svoje potenciale in jih nadgrajuje. Napredovanja se morajo odražati v delu, pomeniti morajo spodbudo za še boljše, ustvarjalnejše delo. Vendar praksa včasih pokaže drugačne rezultate od pričakovanih. Za celotno družbo je pomembno, kako bodo učitelji razvijali ne le svojo osebno, temveč tudi poklicno identiteto. Kako bodo skrbeli za svoj karierni razvoj in kakšen pomen temu daje njihovo strokovno okolje. Sodobni učitelj mora imeti vrsto kompetenc, med drugim tudi globalno razsežnost, pozitiven odnos do kulturne in narodnostne pestrosti, mobilnost, obvladovanje komunikacijske tehnologije in poznavanje ter uporabo številnih novih informacij. Pri analizi smo ugotovili, da je napredovanje v naziv motivator za boljše delo. Učitelji z višjim nazivom opravljajo svoje delo bolj kakovostno, saj so s svojim dodatnim usposabljanjem in izpopolnjevanjem ter strokovnim delom pridobili dodatne kompetence za delo. Napredovanje v nazive nam pokaže, da je tako kot poklicni tudi osebni razvoj izrazitejši z višjim napredovanjem.
