Kreativnost v timu

Abstract

The man would not be able to survive without creativity. However, a few decades ago team research work was also given a prominent place. Team work was imposed, on one hand, by the need for new products and knowledge, and on the other, by the fact that as a social being the man feels best in a group. The goal of the thesis was to acknowledge the characteristics of a good team, to determine the type of influence that team work has on creativity, to investigate why and when it is appropriate to form teams, and to search or recognise methods to encourage creativity. One of the objectives was also to find out why it is more suitable to form teams rather than solving determined tasks individually. But, above all, we wanted to recognize what are the differences in creativity of the team members in comparison to those, who solve the same task individually. On the basis of reviewed literature and examined lectures videos, in the initial chapters of the thesis we presented creativity, team and team creativity. Afterwards, in the empirical part we carried out interviews with professionals in the fields of economy (Sumida d.o.o., Blejska Dobrava), educational system (Elementary School Koper) and health care (Valdoltra Hospital). After the transcription of recorded interviews, we organised the records into logical units and with the help of coding we established an evaluation. Besides the interviews, we also questioned the team members in enterprises, educational system, heath care, sports, tourism, theatre, in a music band and a fire brigade. We realised that it is indeed more appropriate to work in a team, especially due to the synergy effects in all fields, better motivation, bigger flexibility and learning speed, and due to a greater possibility of reaching creative achievements. We concluded that a creative team should have a good common goal, nobility in mission, curios and diverse members, among whom there is mutual respect and relaxed atmosphere, where they use creativity motivation methods and where members, as satisfied individuals, voluntarily connect between each other and contribute to changes for the better with common forces.

Na osnovi prebrane literature in ogledanih video posnetkov predavanj smo v začetnih poglavjih diplomske naloge predstavili kreativnost, tim in kreativnost v timu. Nato smo v empiričnem delu izvedli intervjuje s strokovnjaki na področju gospodarstva (Sumida d.o.o, Blejska Dobrava), šolstva (Osnovna šola Koper) in zdravstva (Bolnišnica Valdoltra).
