Slovenci in kolektivne identitete

Abstract

This thesis is focused on the process of creating national identity of Slovenians and also affiliation to ''Slovenehood'' through different periods in the nation's history. Based on the assumption that the affiliation of the individual to ''his'' national identity over time is expressed to varying degrees and that this is influenced by many different factors, among which are certainly individual's satisfaction with the situation in the community or society to which he belongs. First part of the thesis explains concepts that are associated with national identity which represents one of the strongest collective identifications in contemporary society. The process of formation of the Slovenian national consciousness can be explained through the history of the Slovenian nation, which after centuries of maturation in different state formations with plebiscit vote became a nation with his country. In this study on the perception of collective identities among the Slovenes we note how they have changed views of relation to collective identities over time. Longitudinal methodological research strategy was used in order to measure trends and views or relations to the observed phenomena in the population and to find a causal explanation.

Merimo trende in stališča oziroma odnose do opazovanih pojavov v populaciji in zanje poiščemo vzročne razlage.
