Abstract

Ricardo Rodríguez (coordinador de promoción) emprendió un plan de mercadeo en el XXV Festival Internacional Cervantino, Guanajuato 1997 que logró exclusivas de venta de Tequila en restaurantes durante el Festival. S jefe le planteó la disyuntiva de continuar con esta actividad o coordinar la celebración de 'La Vendimia" y dejar el arranque de la promoción al Contador de la empresa. El Festival Internacional Cervantino (FIC) era un acontecimiento artístico y cultural muy importante para México y Latinoamérica. Ocupando un lugar muy especial entre los cuatro festivales más importantes en su tipo a nivel mundial, por la innumerable cantidad de artistas -de talla internacional- que han pisado algún escenario en aquel Festival. Desde 1972, año de su creación, el FIC tenía como escenario la ciudad de Guanajuato. En sus orígenes y como homenaje a don Miguel de Cervantes, el festival difundió ante todo creaciones artísticas en lengua castellana, y cada año recordaba la tradición del Teatro Universitario de Guanajuato.
