Abstract

Se trata de una guía compendiada de los yacimientos minerales del Perú, detallando los procesos de formación, su metalogonia así como la descripción de sus rasgos geológicos, incluyendo aspectos sobre sus controles y guías de mineralización. Incluye una breve historia minera del Perú y su incidencia en el desarrollo económico nacional. Se indica que la clasificación propuesta está basada en la guía de Guilbert y Parks, The geology of ore deposits (1986).
