En esta reseña, Lucero Pacheco Ávila analiza el libro digital El Colegio de Tlatelolco. Síntesis de historias, lenguas y culturas, coordinado por Esther Hernández y Pilar Máynez. La obra reúne trece ensayos académicos que abordan la historia, lengua y cultura en torno al Colegio de Santa Cruz de Tlatelolco, fundado en 1536. Dividido en tres ejes temáticos —el proyecto cultural del Colegio, las estrategias de conversión y el lenguaje como instrumento de comprensión—, el volumen reflexiona sobre el papel de esta institución como espacio de intercambio de saberes, diálogo teológico y producción lingüística, destacando su legado en la construcción de una identidad novohispana

In this review, Lucero Pacheco Ávila discusses the digital edition El Colegio de Tlatelolco. Síntesis de historias, lenguas y culturas, edited by Esther Hernández and Pilar Máynez. The book brings together thirteen scholarly essays exploring the historical, linguistic, and cultural dimensions of the Colegio de Santa Cruz de Tlatelolco, founded in 1536. Divided into three thematic axes—the College’s cultural project, strategies of conversion, and language as a tool for understanding—the volume examines the institution’s role as a site for knowledge exchange, theological dialogue, and linguistic production, emphasizing its legacy in shaping New Spanish identity
