(II)

Abstract

Most ecologists agree that the day is not far off when humanity will be short of food, the evil is getting worse every day as the population grows geometrically without control. The cases of India, China and Japan have shown the world an insufficient food system, depleting resources. These countries resorted to incomplete rations, replacing the rich foods made up of proteins by rice and other cereals rich in flour. For their part, Central America, South Africa and Venezuela are enduring an impoverishment in their agriculture, erosion being the cause of these insufficiencies.
