Abstract

Colombia ha tenido cambios en reformas tributarias para aumentar el recaudo lo que ha forjado consecuencias sobre el valor de los productos de consumo en los hogares, lo que genera que la calidad de vida de los colombianos no sea la más optima. El objetivo de este artículo es determinar el impacto del impuesto al valor agregado sobre el consumo en Colombia, dado que es tan importante que en la actualidad es un tema muy común en el diario de una familia Colombiana, ya que como podemos evidenciar en sus inicios el IVA no era tan influyente debido a su bajo porcentaje de base, pero ha aumentado de una manera significativa y en actualidad contamos con la tarifa general más alta de la historia la cual es de un 19%.

Colombia has had changes in tax reforms to increase collection, which has forged consequences on the value of consumer products in households, which means that the quality of life of Colombians is not the most optimal. The objective of this article is to determine the impact of the value added tax on consumption in Colombia, since it is so important that it is currently a very common issue in the newspaper of a Colombian family, as we can see in its beginnings VAT was not as influential due to its low base percentage, but it has increased significantly and we currently have the highest overall rate in history, which is 19%.
