Kredilendirme sürecinde uluslararası finansal raporlama standartlarına göre konsolide finansal tabloların düzenlenmesi

Abstract

Banks principally make their profits by issuing loans. Banks loans also have a higher probability of default than other assets. Because of that phenomenon banks make credit analysis which is an investigative framework that permits the systematic and comprehensive assessment of a firm?s capacity and willingness to pay its financial obligations.Sometimes bans analyze the group or the parent rather than a single firm. In that case, the credit analysis is about determining the group?s ability to pay its credit in full. To determine the ability of a group we should analyze the groups consolidated financial statements.Consolidated financial statements report the result of operations and financial condition of a parent company and its subsidiaries in one set of statements. Consolidated financial statements reflect a business entity controlled by a single company called the parent.Consolidation involves two stages: aggregation and elimination: First; assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses of subsidiaries and the parent. The second stage is to eliminate intercompany transactions to avoid double counting. With this study preparing consolidated financial statements is explained.
