Temsiliyet krizi: Çek yeni dalga filmlerinde sistem karşıtı kadınlar

Abstract

This thesis aims to debate the anti-system movements of the woman representatives in the woman themed movies which bear the impacts of Czech New Wave cinema developed in Czechoslovakia from 1962 to 1968. In this paper, all the anti-system behaviours of the different woman representatives bearing the effects of this current so called Czech New Wave have been analyzed, and it was concluded that Czech nationals are representing a reform movement and liberalization process against the system which was confining their freedom and equality rights. This paper has also studied the movies Pytel Blech, 1962, O něčem jiném, 1963 of Chytilova and Lásky jedné plavovlásky, 1965 of Milos Forman over the subject and power, 'bio-power' of Michel Foucault and 'performative' identity of Judith Butler and within the context of anti-systemic movements of woman representatives under the effects/impacts of the New Wave and claimed especially by a scrutinized formal movie analysis of Sedmikrásky, 1966 of Chytilová, that these women represent the democratic reform movement and liberalization process occurred throughout the country and that Marie I and Marie II, by breaching all the rules in the stories became anti-system woman representatives due to their anti-systemic movements and also precursory daisies of the Prague Spring, the so called countrywide liberalization process.Key Words: Judith Butler, Michel Foucault, performativite, bio-power, Dadaism, Nihilism, Prague Spring, Czech New Wave
