El objetivo principal de este trabajo es describir un caso clínico de Pseudodrusas del disco óptico en Papiledema crónico por Hipertensión Intracraneal Idiopática (HII) el cual fue diagnosticado erróneamente de Drusas del disco óptico. El objetivo secundario es realizar una revisión bibliográfica sobre la HII, y sobre el diagnóstico diferencial de Pseudodrusas del nervio óptico y Drusas verdaderas.
The main goal of this study is to describe a clinical case of pseudodrusen of the optic disc in chronic papilledema due to Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH), which was misdiagnosed as true optic disc drusen. The secondary objective is to conduct a literature review on IIH and the differential diagnosis between pseudodrusen of the optic nerve and true drusen.
