Abstract

Thinking Based Learning is considered one of the active methodologies of the 21st century, putting all its value in the development of this cognitive skill, in a critical and effective way. As well as, in its later analysis and reflection through metacognition. Throughout the writing of this work, the main characteristics and functions that it has in the educational field can be seen, emphasizing the fundamental keys to be able to teach and implement it in the classrooms from early ages. Likewise, it includes the treatment given to this cognitive ability along the last educational laws and the current Decree of the Valencian Community. Also, it offers a selection of Thinking Routines for the Pre school stage through which we intend to make thinking visible. It is worth highlighting the didactic proposal designed, where these tools mentioned above are used and the resource of the story as a thread between them, allowing the use of this methodology to derive in an increasingly autonomous use of it.
