Abstract

In recent years there has been a continous increase in the needs for psychological support due tyo a significant increase in prevalence of depression. Many patients with depresive syndrome do not recieve the necessary cognitive behavioral therapy to treat their symproms due to problems that this treatment currently poses, such as the high costo f private consultions or the social stigma of recofnising having a mental illness.in this sense, since 2000, programs have been in development, accessed through the internet, which try to emulate the content taught in fase-to-face CBT, called computereized cognitive-behavioral therapies. The objective of the CCBT is to allow access to CBT knowledge to those who cannot normally or do not want to go to a mental health professional. Studying the impact of CCBT on depressive symptoms, as well as adherence and the therapeutic alliance developed with these new therapies is important to be able to conclude if CCBT is a valid alternative to face-to-face CBT.
