The autor highlights the two Synod meetings as the mandatory context to consider for the normative reform (c. 17), this is why he focuses on “criterion” options that are key to have a correct “Synod” interpretation of the implementation of the norm, that will favour a correct and effective reception of it since it goes way past the changes that affect the dynamics of the process. The presentation begins with a brief reference to the issue of the Synod, to motivate from there the reform of the process (second part), and to finish suggesting interpretations that, from the context of the Synod, the author believes that these deserve some less clear ruling of the Motu Proprio.
