Abstract

Ülkemizde 'Anne ve Çocuk Sağlığı Hizmetlerinde' önemli rolü olan ebeler; adli bilimlerin uzmanlık alanları içinde adli ebelik uzmanlık alanı olarak yer almamaktadır. Adli ebeliğin rol alabileceği çalışma konuları da sadece adli obstetrik-jinekoloji ve adli hemşirelik disiplinleri tarafından yürütülmektedir. Bu makalenin amacı, ülkemizde uygulama alanı bulamayan adli ebelik disiplinin kapsamı ve özellikleri hakkında bilgi vermek, adli bilimler uzmanlık alanları içinde adli ebeliğe dikkat çekmek ve adli vakaların tanı, tedavi ve değerlendirilmesinde önemli ölçüde katkı sağlayabileceğini belirtmektir.
