Abstract

II ABSTRACT In this master thesis plates which are supported on three edges and free on the fourth edge are investigated due to flexure. Plates are analysed analytically and with finite element method under uniformly distributed loading. In the analytical solution of the plates, from the solution of the differential equation by obtaining the elastic surface equation, settlements are calculated. In the solution due to the finite element method, by obtaining the plate stiffness matrix, settlements are calculated. The results obtained by both methods are compared with each other.

ÖZET Bu yüksek lisans tezi çalışmasında, Eğilmeye çalışan bir kenarı boşta, diğer kenarları basit mesnetli plak sistem incelenmiştir. Plak sistem uniform yayılı yükler altında Analitik ve Sonlu Elemanlar Metoduna göre çözülmüştür. Plak sistemin Analitik çözümünde diferansiyel denklemin hesabından elastik yüzey ifadesi elde edilerek çökme değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Sonlu Elemanlar Metodu ile çözümünde ise plak rijitlik matrisi elde edilerek çökme değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Her iki çözümden elde edilen sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır.
