Abstract

Nanoindentasyon testi, malzemelerin farklı mekanik özelliklerini tespit etmek için yaygın olarak kullanılan çok kullanışlı bir tekniktir ancak uygulanması genellikle çeşitli zorlukları içerir. Sonlu elemanlar analizi (FEA), birçok mühendislik ve bilim alanındaki karmaşık problemleri çözmek için hızlı sonuç veren bir bilgisayarda sayısal analiz yöntemidir. Bu tez çalışmasında, rijit bir özellikteki bir batıcı ucun elasto-plastik malzemeler üzerindeki tepkisi nanoindentasyon tekniği özelinde incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla, doğrusal olmayan (non-linear) mekanik özellikler kullanılarak kaplamasız paslanmaz çelik, kaplamasız titanyum ve titanyum ile kaplanmış paslanmaz çelik örneklere ait üç farklı model iki boyutlu (2B) olarak oluşturulmuştur. Söz konusu modellere ait sınır şartlar, gerçek fiziksel kısıtlar göz önünde bulundurularak tespit edilmiş ve uygulanmıştır. Analizler neticesinde modellere ait zamana veya kuvvete bağlı deformasyon, gerilme ve şekil değiştirme grafikleri yanı sıra, alansal dağılım görüntüleri elde edilmiştir.
