Giriş ve Amaç: Sportmenlik, beden eğitimi ve spor dersinin içinde ve hayatın bütününde yer alan bununla birlikte ahlaki değerler içeren bir kavramdır. Sportmenliği etkileyen birçok kavram vardır. Bunlardan biri de başarı algısı olarak düşünülmektedir. Bu araştırmada ortaokul öğrencilerin sportmenlik davranışları ile başarı algılarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Materyal ve Metod: Araştırma grubunu 2016-2017 eğitim öğretim yılında Erzincan il merkezindeki ortaokullara devam eden ve rastgele seçilen toplam 845 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak Koç (2013), tarafından geliştirilen `Beden Eğitimi Dersi Sportmenlik Davranışı Ölçeği (BEDSDÖ)` ile Roberts, Treasure ve Balague (1998) tarafından geliştirilen ve Türkçeye uyarlaması Kazak Çetinkalp (2009) tarafından yapılan ''Başarı Algısı Envanteri- Çocuk Versiyonu (BAE-ÇV)'' kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistiksel teknikler, ikili grup karşılaştırmalarında Independent Sample t, çoklu grup karşılaştırmalarında ise One-Way ANOVA ile birlikte Tukey HSD testleri yapılmıştır. Başarı algılarının sportmenlik davranışlarını ne şekilde yordadığını ortaya koymak için basit doğrusal regresyon analizi uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Elde edilen bulgulara göre; öğrencilerin sportmenlik davranışları ve başarı algılarında cinsiyetlerine, sınıf düzeylerine, okul başarı düzeyine, spor türlerine ve kulüp sporcusu olma durumlarına göre anlamlı derecede farklılık bulunurken anne-baba eğitim düzeyi, okul sporlarında görev alma durumu ve aile gelir düzeyine göre anlamı bir farklılık bulunamamıştır. Ortaokul öğrencilerinin görev yönelimi düzeylerinin pozitif davranışlar sergileme davranışlarının %5'ini ve toplam sportmenlik davranışlarının %2'sini yordadığı anlaşılmıştır. Ayrıca öğrencilerin ego yönelimlerinin de negatif davranışlardan kaçınma davranışlarının %2'sini anlamlı yordadığı saptanmıştır.Sonuç: Ortaokul öğrencilerinde sportmenlik davranışları ile başarı algılarının çeşitli değişkenlere göre farklılaştığı ve başarı algısının sportmenlik davranışlarını yordadığı anlaşılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Başarı Algısı, Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Dersi, Sportmenlik Davranışı

Introduction and Objective: Sportsmanship is a concept that contains moral values together with the physical education and sports that are in and of the whole of life. There are many concepts that affect sportsmanship. One of them is considered as a perception of success. In this study, it was aimed to examine the sporting behaviors and perceptions of success of middle school students.Materials and Methods: A total of 845 randomly selected research samples were collected from the state and private schools in the Erzincan province center during the academic year of 2016-2017. `Physical Education Classroom Sportsmanship Behavior Scale` (BEDSDÖ) was used to collect data which are developed by KOÇ (2013) and `Success perception inventory of children version` was used which are developed by Roberts, Treasure and Balague (1998) translated by Kazak Çetinkalp (2009). In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistical techniques, Independent Sample T test for binary group comparisons and Tukey HSD test with One-Way Anova for multiple group comparisons. Simple linear regression analysis was applied to find out success predict sportsmanship behaviors.Findings: Due to findings; there was a significant difference in the students' sportsmanship behaviors and achievement perceptions according to gender, class levels, school achievement level, sports types and club sportsmen, but there was no significant difference due to parental education level, school sports status and family income level. It was understood that the level of task orientation of secondary school students predicts 5% of positive behaviors and 2% of total sportsmanship behaviors. It was also found that the ego orientations of the students significantly predicted 2% of the avoidance behaviors from negative behaviors.Conclusion: In the middle school students, it was understood that sportsmanship behaviors and success perceptions differ according to various variables and that success perception predicts sportsmanship behaviors.Key Words: Perception of Success, Physical Education and Sports Lesson, Sportmanship Behavior
