The growth of rubber waste, mainly tires, is a worldwide concern because of the damage to the ecosystem and human welfare. This paper investigates how rubber alters the mechanical and physical properties of conventional concrete when handled as fine aggregate in different proportions (3%, 5% and 7%). Tests are performed using concrete samples to evaluate improvements in the strength of mix designs. Due to its high scientific relevance and the significant ecological difficulties concerning the treatment of rubber waste, research on this topic should continue.
