Gövde Fleksör Kas Kuvveti Dikey Sıçrama Performansını Etkiler mi?

Abstract

Abstract Purpose: The aim of the study is quantitatively explore the correlation between trunk muscle strength and jump performance among elite volleyball players. Methods: A total of 25 volleyball players participated in the study. The jump performance data collected were stored digitally via Microgate Software version 3.01 with two jump types were measured; the Squat Jump and the Countermovement Jump. Furthermore, Trunk muscle strength assessments in this study were exclusively focused on the trunk flexor muscle group. Measurements utilized the Cybex Humac Norm isokinetic dynamometer (CSMI, Massachusetts, USA), a widely respected tool for isokinetic evaluations. Results: According to results, a strong positive and statistically significant correlation was identified between Squat Jump and Countermovement Jump performance (p 0.05). Conclusion: In conclusion, although no statistically significant relationship was found between trunk muscle strength and jump performance, trunk stability is considered important for the continuity and effectiveness of motor performance. Therefore, it is recommended that training protocols incorporate exercises aimed at enhancing trunk stabilization.
