"Trabzon'da Dini Hayat" adlı bu çalışmada, Trabzon'da yaşayan insanların sosyo-kültürel, ekonomik ve dini yapısı incelenmiştir. Bu çalışma "giriş" ve iki "bölüm"den oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde araştırmanın konusu, amacı, önemi yöntem ve teknikleri gibi araştırmayla ilgili metodolojik bilgiler verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde, araştırmayla ilgili kavramlar, Trabzon'un sosyo kültürel durumu ve tarihi gelişimi incelenmiştir. Araştırmamızın en kapsamlı bölümünü oluşturan ikinci bölümde araştırmanın uygulama kısmı yer almaktadır. Bu bölümde, Trabzon'daki dini hayatın inanç, dini pratik, ibadet, bilgi ve toplumsal boyutları ile ilgili elde edilen veriler bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca elde edilen veriler, araştırmanın amacı ve kapsamı doğrultusunda sosyolojik olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Son olarak çalışmamızın genel bir değerlendirmesi yapılarak, bazı dikkat çekici hususları belirtilmiştir.

The socio-cultural, economic, and religious structure of the people who live in Trabzon was studied. The research has two main parts including an introduction chapter. In the introduction, some information about the methods of the study was given. The man concepts of the study was introduced in the first part, The socio-cultural condition and the historical development of Trabzon was investigated. The analysis and the discussion section of the study was given in the second part. In this regard, the blief, religious practice, prayers, the level of knowledge and social dimensions of the people living in Trabzon was discussed in the light of the results. The results were particularly discussed from a sociological perspective in accordance with the aim and extension of the study. Finally, some specific and significant points were emphasized in the condusion chapter.
