Abstract

El procesamiento artesanal del algodón nativo Gossypium barbadense L. (Malvaceae), se ha desarrollado por varias generaciones en el departamento de Lambayeque; aunque su viabilidad económica no ha sido comprobada, diversos proyectos financiados por el gobierno y cooperación internacional han buscado fortalecer esta actividad.
