Abstract

"Se realizó un estudio para evaluar la respuesta reproductiva de ovejas Pelibuey sincronizadas con esponjas intravaginales impregnadas con Acetato de Fluorogestona, y adición de Somatotropina Recombinante Bovina o Gonadotropina Coriónica Equina al retiro de la esponja, se usaron 100 ovejas Pelibuey asignadas aleatoriamente a cuatro tratamientos: 1) esponja con FGA (control), 2) esponja con FGA+bST, 3) esponja con FGA+eCG y 4) esponja con FGA+bST+eCG. Se evaluaron la variables: a) Tiempo entre el retiro de la esponja e inicio del celo, b) Duración del celo, c) Porcentaje de ovejas que presentaron celo, d) Porcentaje de ovejas que retornaron al estro (17-20 días post-servicio), e) Porcentaje de ovejas gestadas, f) Número de días de gestación y g) Fertilidad."
