Efectos del entrenamiento en la zona de velocidad absoluta en el press de banca sobre el perfil de fuerza - Velocidad en adultos sanos

Abstract

El objetivo principal del estudio es determinar si el método de entrenamiento utilizado en la zona de velocidad absoluta mejora la zona de velocidad en el perfil de fuerza - velocidad en el ejercicio de press de banca en adultos sanos. Tres mujeres y un hombre participaron en el estudio y siguieron una intervención de 8 semanas basada en el entrenamiento basado en la velocidad en la zona de velocidad absoluta en el ejercicio de press de banca. Se monitoreaba la velocidad en cada repetición. Todos los participantes entrenaron con una intensidad media relativa similar (25 – 45 % 1 RM), magnitud de pérdida de velocidad (10 – 20 %), número de repeticiones (flexibles), número de series (3) y descanso entre series (2-3 minutos) a lo largo del programa de entrenamiento. La evaluación previa y posterior a la intervención se basaba en la evaluación del 1 RM de cada sujeto. Se observaron aumentos significativos en el 1 RM de los participantes (p<0,05). No se observaron cambios significativos en el perfil de fuerza – velocidad de los usuarios, ya que no hubo mejoras significativas en la velocidad máxima, media ni mínima. En conclusión, la intervención VBT del método de entrenamiento en la zona de velocidad absoluta indujo adaptaciones favorables en la fuerza máxima de los participantes, pero no en el perfil de fuerza – velocidad.
