Control químico de malezas en repollo (Brassica oleracea L.).

Abstract

En la zona del Oriente Antioqueño el repollo es un cultivo de importancia comercial y las desyerbas manuales representan una alta proporción del costo de producción. Hasta 1970, no se había realizado ningún estudio de matamalezas sobre este cultivo en la región. Las perspectivas de ampliación del mercado de este producto y la reducción de mano de obra para labores agrícolas, hacen necesaria una investigación sobre las posibilidades de control químico. En la Estación La Selva, municipio de Rionegro se llevó a cabo un ensayo sobre la variedad Bola verde con nueve herbicidas. El Linuron, Nitrofen + DNBP, Metobromurón, Norea, DNBP causaron daño severo, Trifluralina, Alaclor y Napropamida causaron poco daño y el repollo se recuperó. La Simazina dió un daño moderado con recuperación y un excelente control de malezas
