Abstract

Las ciudades latinoamericanas, espejos de la sociedad, reflejan cada vez más el desarrollo deficiente y el precio de la modernidad (Touraine, 1992). El cuadro predominante es el de las ciudades fragmentadas, caracterizadas por el incremento de los fenómenos de exclusión social, segregación espacial y violencia urbana.
