Mesterlære har tradisjonelt vært knyttet til arbeidslivet og yrkesopplæringen. Det hevdes også at mesterlære som opplæringsform er uegnet for profesjonsutdanninger. I denne artikkelen vil jeg argumentere for at mesterlæreliknende læringsaktiviteter lar seg gjennomføre i en profesjonsutdanning som for eksempel yrkesfaglærerutdanningen i restaurant- og matfag.
