Una alternativa eficaz para el control de malezas en barbechos

Abstract

La masiva adopción del sistema de siembra directa y la utilización de cultivares de soja tolerantes a glifosato, generó una alta dependencia de herbicidas de amplio espectro (ej: glifosato) para el control de malezas. Así, en los últimos 10 años se ha verificado un incremento significativo en las dosis y frecuencias de aplicaciones de herbicidas en los sistemas agrícolas y mixtos agrícolas. La principal causa de esto puede correlacionarse con la aparición de tolerancia y resistencia de ciertas malezas al glifosato (Rainero, 2008).
